From a young age, growing vegetables and flowers has been a big part of my life and continues to be a central theme. I enjoy cooking wild game, foraging, fishing and gardening. Moving out west further enhanced my resourcefulness of what I could do with what I could find in my literal backyard, as well as the metaphorical backyard in the forests where I now play.
